Glossylips that smile and sneer. Post-Adolescent bodies stunned into stillness; stuffed like sausages, into Pretty n Pink disasters. Tumbling in and out of character at a raucous Sweet 16 party, this piece starts, stops and regroups through a movement score based in childhood games, cheerleaders, 1960's Americana and MTV. Amidst themes of hyper-femininity, burgeoning sexuality and the conflict that arises when the child in us meets the adult we will become, this is a quantum vacuum where each performer is every girl, past and present, at 16.
